Jeneve Bridal

Following from the most recent advice from the Government, as a retail shop/tailor/dresser we are able to open from Monday 15th June following official guidelines.
In-line with Health and Safety Regulations we have made changes to how we operate to minimise risk to both ourselves and our brides and families.
As new guidance is given/updated by the government, these will be subject to change.

  • We will operate a locked door and an appointment only policy. This will be necessary for all visits, even for gown collections or making payments in person.
  • The bride will be able to bring two other adults with her to the appointment in accordance with government guidance.  In line with current advice, these people can be from a maximum of two different households. We are currently limiting customers to adult only unless absolutely necessary (please advise beforehand). Your guest  may be required to assist the bride with dressing.
  • We respectfully ask that you do NOT attend your appointment if you or your guest is feeling unwell, displaying any recognised COVID symptoms or is awaiting any COVID test results.
  • If you need to queue for any reason, please stand in front/along the window. This will allow clear and safe exit of the shop if we already have an appointment running and also minimise contact with any queues for other local businesses.
  • We know that keeping to a 2m distance will not be wholly possible during your appointment, so please bring and wear a mask whilst at your appointment.
  • From Friday 24th July all visitors must wear a mask/face covering
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided for your use as you enter the shop.
  • We respectfully ask that handing of the gowns is limited; a tablet with images of all the gowns will be available for browsing. Or alternatively screenshot the gowns you love from our website.
  • Cleaning; we have allowed 15-30 minutes between appointments to allow for surface cleaning and sanitisation of the gowns.
  • Items (gowns, hair accessories) tried on during an appointment will be sanitised and steamed between appointments. We will endeavour to keep these quarantined for 24 hours before returning to the shop floor.
  • We will run our own ‘tracing system’ and will ask for details from all visitors including your name, mobile number, address. This will also include details of items tried on.
  • There will be no access to our toilet facilities until further notice.
  • We will display signage on the window indicating the new guidelines so these can be read before entering the shop.
  • Our COVID19 Risk Assessment can be viewed at any time on request.
